concept for off-white, 2022

abstracting form

for this project i took this baltic sea rock and abstracted its form and appearance to create a comb in off-white's design language.

the final form has the same hard edges and flowing shape but has a typical off-white translucent shell to highlight the comb's structure.

marketing

i used off-white's modernist, graphic approach as a basis for my design and marketing, sticking to a simple gradient, helvetica and a 3d grid as graphic elements.

prototype

to find the most fitting form, i used clay to sketch and prototype my design.
