it’s all on fire.

master's project, comic book, 2026

scan of the cover of the book, handbound with a thick ribbon. it depticts an eye tearing up, the iris a flame.

it's all on fire. seeks to find visual languages for movements in chaos and for collapsing worlds. its 184 pages are a messy collection of comics, drawn by a messy hand, with a messy pile of tools. often poetic, sometimes funny (hopefully), trying their best to be honest and uncynical, the stories are a mix of zines and posters (and the occasional mural), riso-printed and bound by hand, brought together into a book.

it's all on fire. is a desperate attempt to document and resist the overwhelming rise of fascism, violence, climate catastrophe and apathy, and deals with feelings of inadequacy, guilt and grief over the things that could have been.
